In addition to its founders, today Safe Trace also has as a partner Fir Capital, a risk capital fund manager that has partnerships with several universities in Brazil, like UFMG, UFV, PUC-Rio and Centro de Estudos e Sistemas Avançados do Recife, Cesar.
Fir Capitalwas looking for technologies to propel the meat production chain towards modernity, sustainability and productivity, and among other companies, learned about Safe Traceand its projects.
The trust it had in the technology and potential market of Safe Traceit to present the company to the Investment Committee during the 2nd semester of 2007. In March 2008, the company received investments from one of the largest funds managed by Fir Capital, Fundotec II, to which some of the largest pension funds in Brazil belong.

The pioneering and proprietary technology developed by Safe Trace places Brazil at the same level as more developed countries in meat chain management. Using the latest and most advanced equipment, the services enable the identification of a cattle herd and strict follow-up thereof, phase by phase, until the meat gets to final consumers.
